It’s been about a year since I attended any sort of big car meet/show. The last one was a random happening on my way back from breakfast early one May morning at the early apex of covid last year. Funny enough held by the same group but this weekends outing was more planned on my part. I had checked on Greater Vancouver Cars and Coffee’s FB page Friday evening and saw there was an event planned for Sunday morning. On Saturday I did what any vehicular ocd type person would do and kicked the wash buckets into the driveway and got down to detailing. I set 40 alarms on my phone for Sunday morning and was up and spritely after about the 10th one (better than usual). I cruised down Lougheed highway and ended up next to a wide body 993 Carrera which made for a great start to the day.
Seeing some friends and enjoying all the sights and sounds really made for a great morning and I’m hoping to get out to a few more this summer. There were some incredible cars there, maybe one day I’ll see if I can pry the owners for a shoot and an article to post on the blog. I shouldn’t get ahead of myself I just restarted this so…baby steps Andy.
Any way you’re here for the gallery so check out the images below. If you scroll down there’s a few shot on Kodak Portra 400 film! I ran a roll of Fuji Provia 100 but it takes a week to send out and develop, so for now I’ll leave you with these snaps from a fantastic Sunday’s morn.
Thanks to everyone who organizes these Cars and Coffee’s the link to the FB page is: https://www.facebook.com/VancouverCarsandCoffee
